New fabrics in the shop!

Let me show you new fabric in my shop!

I just fell in love with Suffolk Garden series from dashwood studio, designed by Brie Harrison and had to show you them! So pretty, aren’t they? Can you see cute robin? This one is a large print. The photo is showing a half the width of the fabric, 22″. This will make a beautiful girls dress or soft furniture.

Next is from the same series, called Dandelion. Again this one is a large print. Those dandelion seed heads are same size as above print. Much cooler, calmer colour on white background. I love dandelion seeds head 🙂

dandeline 04This one, Sweet William, is much smaller print. I can’t tell if they are butterflies or flowers. Very Japanese look, I think.

butterfly 01And this little tulips are printed on charcoal grey. Very pop and cute. These always reminds me my childhood. Would this make a cute mini skirt or a bag?

Moving on to strong coloured fabrics. I was looking for nice red, orange, purple for a while and these are my answers.

Bright red SALSA designed by Valori Wells. As the name suggests, it’s a hot red and I like it! It’s not pink or dark or light. Red!( I will list this one on Etsy shortly)

red 01As you know purple is made of mixture of red and blue. This one is more red side, deep red. GRAPPA  designed by Valori Wells. I have grey version of this called Smoky and Smoky is so calm and almost mystical lace flower head but Grappa is very strong and loud like fireworks.

smoky purple 02This purple is more blue, lilac or lavender. Again Valori Wells design(You guess something here now?). More comical, abstract design.

grape 01Light lemon yellow fabric, Multi from Fusions collection, Robert Kaufman. It’s actually very very pale but hexagon dots gives some accent and movement( I will list this one on Etsy shortly).

SRK-14855-205 editedBright carrot orange from Doe collection by Carolyn Friendlander. Full of carotene. The orange background has slight tone change. Cute hand drawn like dots design are printed on.

AFR-15030-151 2 Botanics in Curry, by Carolyn Friendlander. To me it is not much curry coloured. It’s beige/sandy cream but anyway it’s a nice soft colour.AFR-14262-291 2You can buy them through my Etsy shop, or contact me directly.
