These are two tea towels I was asked to quilt. Both have quite detailed print and little background space.
Naturally I quilted outlines first and some more lines to create bumps. Background was filled with blending coloured thread so it’s very hard to see from the right side on photos especially.
Cornish Tea room.
I quilted where I want to be flat like wall, fence, sky and shadow and black space.
New Zealand.
Again, outlines and contour lines. Sea was quilted wave pattern.
