Here is my offer of workshops in my studio, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow for this Autumn, 2022
In order to deliver a great experience, I am limiting the number of participants to six for the each workshop. That means, you will have a lot of attention from me! Tonnes of questions can be asked and many many things will be sorted!
I am also including a beautiful lunch provided by a local food artisan on the day. Freshly brewed tea and coffee are available as much as you like.
Please bring own sewing machine, tools and material as required. Additional materials and tools are available from the studio.
Workshop will run from 10.00 until around 16.00
Your place will be secured with the payment of deposit, €25. The requirement list will be given with the booking.
25th September
Free motion quilting for starting level and with some experience.
Introduction course
Starting with setting up of the machine, learn the basic of how to do it and learn basic shapes. Get comfortable with free motion quilting and come over the fear!
Later in the day you will make a cushion cover size quilt.
Please bring own sewing machine and material required.

Stained glass patchwork
Stained glass patchwork is quite simple to make and the result is a stunning look. Would you like to try it yourself?
The picture right is a sample of pattern you will be working. The fabric placement will be different.
This workshop is suitable for any skill level.
All material is included in the cost except black thread.
This workshop does not including quilting part.
Please bring own iron and ironing pad, sewing machine with zigzag foot and also black thread.

Christmas bauble quilting
A little bit of challenging quilting project for the Christmas.
Suitable for ones with some free motion experience.
There is faux trapunto and a lot of quilting in this project!
The material with the pattern drawn will be provided. You just bring your sewing machine and a lot of thread in different colour.
